Emirates is expanding the content library of its ice inflight entertainment system, with Dubai+, featuring productions from the United Arab Emirates, set to become available to passengers.
The dedicated Dubai+ collection will initially feature 10 programmes, 35 episodes and more than 20 hours of content, including productions such as Dara, Wadima w Halema and Dannoun. The collection, which also includes content from Dubai TV and Sama Dubai, will continue to expand with new titles.
Emirates is also adding the ice Opera House collection, featuring opera, ballet and symphony performances. Titles will include Carmen, Don Giovanni, Madama Butterfly, Swan Lake and Cinderella, alongside works such as Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Bach’s Mass in B Minor.
In October, new Hollywood releases, international films and documentaries will be added to the ice library. With 43 new TV collections, the total number of series collections will exceed 356.
Emirates’ ice system offers up to 6,500 entertainment channels in more than 40 languages, including over 3,000 films and more than 4,500 TV episodes. The platform also features live news and sports, podcasts, children’s content and up to 100 video games.
The next-generation ice experience includes 4K and 4K HDR displays, iceMoments, an eye-comfort mode, enhanced live television and spatial audio technology. Emirates is also expanding Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet, with the service currently available on 55 aircraft.
Emirates’ ice system won the 2026 APEX World’s Best Inflight Entertainment Award and was also named the World’s Best Inflight Entertainment system by Skytrax for the 19th time.
